Problem

Equipment managers lack granular control over which users can book specific equipment. This results in users being uncertain about their booking permissions. Consequently, they often reserve equipment they aren’t authorized to use, leading to excessive back-and-forth communication between users and equipment managers.

Solution

We enable admins to create customized equipment access for users through item and user groups. This provides an additional layer of customization, allowing admins to categorize equipment and control user access to specific item groups. We also clearly indicate to users which equipment they can and cannot book.
